Education Specialist needed in Palo Alto to join childcare team!
A lovely family in Palo Alto is looking for an Education Specialist to join their childcare team. The family has two full time nanny's who work on a rotational schedule, and we need a full time, Monday through Friday, Educational specialist to oversee all things school related. You will be responsible for managing the school schedule, after school tutor schedule, sourcing and vetting tutors and specialists, and other education related tasks. You should have strong administrative skills as things can change week to week in this household and we want to find someone who has the skill set to keep up with a hectic household. You will be managing two kids calendars as well as a joint calendar, and be able to shift appointments due to travel and other educational/athletic/social engagements the kids have previously committed to. We would love to find a teacher who wants to transition into the private service/home setting. Someone who has experience as a regular babysitter is ideal. Must have valid CA driver's license with clean driving record, as you may be asked to pick up the kids from school and take to after school actives. You may be asked to fill in and do some nanny duties - please be a team player who loves to work in a collaborative environment. The family does travel during school breaks, so you should be flexible to travel for up to two weeks at a time. Must have a college degree from an accredited four year university, and have a minimum of ten years recent/full time experience working in an Education capacity. Must be fully vaccinated and boosted.
