Estate Manager needed in Carmel Valley $80-$100,000 plus on site housing

We are seeking an experienced, service-oriented Estate Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private estate on the Carmel Coast. In this role, you will manage the daily operations of a large main residence, pool house, guest house, tennis court, and extensive grounds. You will lead, mentor, and supervise a small team of household staff, including one full-time housekeeper, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. As a hands-on team player, you will source, vet, and oversee vendors, contractors, and tradespeople to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards. The role also includes planning and executing occasional on-site events and gatherings, including sourcing chefs and caterers and overseeing high-touch service execution. The position includes a financial component, requiring the creation and ongoing management of financial reports submitted to the corporate office on a weekly and monthly basis. The Estate Manager will coordinate all local transportation logistics, including airport transfers working closely with drivers and staff. Additional responsibilities include running local errands such as shopping, inventory replenishment, and dry-cleaning pickup and drop-offs to support homeowner visits and stays. This role requires someone with exceptional attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering anticipatory service at the highest level. The Estate Manager must consistently uphold exceptional standards of privacy, confidentiality, and discretion in all interactions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience managing a private estate or luxury property. You must be highly organized, capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and possess expertise in hospitality, property operations, event coordination, and project management. Salary DOE, $80-$100,000 plus your own separate on site living accommodations as well as a generous package of health, dental, vision, PTO and retirement plan options. Local CA residents only.
