Executive Assistant needed for creative CEO in Berkeley $90- $120,00 DOE!

We are looking for an experienced gatekeeper for a kind and creative CEO of an exciting company in Berkeley. The client wants to prioritize hiring someone who has a high EQ and who embodies kindness and compassion, while also being incredibly organized to help run his professional life. This is a new role, it is the first time this busy CEO is hiring an Assistant. It is such an exciting opportunity for an EA to grow this role from the ground up and take on more responsibility in the years to come, this is truly an amazing company and CEO to work for! You will be responsible for all typical Executive Assistant duties included but not limited to: greeting clients, email and phone correspondence, calendar management for the CEO (personal & business), travel planning, as well as thinking two steps ahead at all times to keep this busy CEO on track. There is an element of "office management" as well that involves fun events such as organizing quarterly team building Happy Hours and making sure the boardroom is stocked for VIP meetings. The client is also looking for someone who is a great communicator to be the liaison between him and his staff. This CEO wants someone who is thoughtful and can take over writing thank you notes after client meetings on behalf of the company and remember if a VIP client has a certain preference for a brand of sparkling water. This attention to detail will be the key to success in this role! Ideal Executive Assistants will have a minimum of 3-5 years full time, recent experience working as a C Suite Executive Assistant. College degree is required. Schedule is working in person in a gorgeous office, M-F, 9:30a-5:30p. Salary: $90-$120,000 plus medical benefits.
