Full Time Private Chef needed in Maui! $175-$200,000 + matching 401k!
We are so excited about this incredible chef opportunity on the gorgeous Island of Maui! A wonderful client is looking for a full time chef that is flexible to travel to the clients other homes in the US as well as occasionally travel to Europe (travel will be up to 4 weeks at a time.) The schedule will be a bit flexible, M-F, although the principals do love to entertain and plan to have Saturday dinner parties of up to 8 people. The clients enjoy comfort food (their favorite restaurant is Keith McNally's Balthazar in NYC!) and love a good California style Breakfast burrito. Their favorite cuisine is Italian food. However, they do want to eat fresh and organic food that is nutritious well as delicious with a flare! The principals are a young couple who have never had a private chef long term before, and are excited to bring someone on board! Their Maui home is not their main residence, although they do plan to spend 50-75% of the time there. There is a House Manager and housekeeper who work full time, so you should be a team player - we are not looking for a chef who expects the housekeeper to clean up 100% after themselves. This is a wonderful work environment and we want to find a chef who will fit into this positive professional team! We are looking for a seasoned private chef, with a minimum of 4 years recent and full time experience working in HNW homes, preferably for one client - loyalty is very important to these principals. Ideal chef candidate will have worked in top NYC, Chicago, SF or LA restaurants as well! Must be fully vaccinated and boosted. Salary DOE, $175-$200,000 plus medical benefits and matching 401k!
