Hospitality Professional needed for family in NYC with some travel to secondary residence $150-$175,000k DOE!
We are looking for a team player Hospitality All Star Extraordinaire to work for a UHNW family as their lead Hospitality Professional. This is a fully staffed home, with 2 SR level housekepeers, a private chef, 2 nannies, one Personal Assistant and a local Family Office. You will be based in NYC, with the flexibility to relocate to the Hamptons in the summer, as well as travel to upstate NY and Aspen as needed for Holidays and special occasions. We want to find someone who can partner with the Dir of Residences to take the service in this home to the next level. You may be asked to help produce a beautiful dinner party in which case you will be in charge of setting a beautiful table, assisting the chef with procuring the appropriate rare or special ingredients needed as well as doing formal service including wine pours. If you can help make a beautiful flower arrangement, that would a major bonus! There are two SR housekeepers who will be your "teammates" - they may need help getting up to speed with the perfect dinner service/etiquette, but you will not manage them as there is a Dir of Residences. This is a "front of the house" role for someone who thrives interacting with the Principals, their family members and friends. We want to find someone who is incredibly polite and personable who can welcome guests, show them to their rooms if they are staying on property, as well as be on the ground working in tandem with the Dir of Operations/Family Office to coordinate vendor visits or meet with repair people. We would love to find someone who is a true team player and loves to help out as needed - you may be asked to lend a hand with the Chef or Housekeepers if they are in a pinch, but your first priority will be all things Hospitality related, and your colleagues will also have your back when needed! We do not want someone with an ego or a no job is too small mentality - this is a drama free home and everyone truly gets along and loves their jobs AND are passionate about the private service industry.
