House Manager/Personal Assistant needed in NYC! $100-$125,000 DOE!
A warm, busy family in Greenwich Village is seeking an experienced House Manager/Personal Assistant to support their dynamic household. This is a newly created position, and they are looking for someone who can do it all. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining the family calendar, coordinating appointments, social engagements, and travel schedules, planning travel and restaurant reservations, and running local errands such as dry cleaning, grocery shopping, and returns. The Personal Assistant/House Manager will keep the household stocked and organized, oversee vendor scheduling and communication, and manage repair, maintenance, and renovation projects. The role also involves tracking household expenses, assisting with bookkeeping, and handling bill payments such as utilities and subscriptions. The family has a second home in Connecticut that is managed by a property manager, but occasional travel there will be required approximately four times per year. The family has two young kids, and ideally you will be open to taking a child to a DR appt if a parent is not available. This is not a childcare role, but we do want someone who can jump for an hour if needed only to take/pick up the kids somewhere. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five to seven years of full-time experience as a Personal Assistant or House Manager in a high-net-worth household. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion are essential. The family is looking for someone tech-savvy, confident with spreadsheets, expense tracking. Candidates must currently reside in New York City. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with occasional flexibility appreciated.
