Nanny/Family Assistant with Autism Spectrum Experience needed in San Diego
We are looking for a childcare provider who has expertise/experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum. The family has two kids, age 12 and 16 - the 12 year old is High Functioning and is beginning to have more sensory issues. Both parents are busy individuals, and are looking for a partner to help them with their son. They want to find someone who can teach them and help guide them. Both children are in school full time, ideal hours will be 11a-7p. You will be responsible for Family Assistant duties in the morning - this could be grocery shopping and stocking the home, running local errands including picking up dry cleaning, sourcing local vendors, signing up the kids for after school activities/camps etc. In the afternoon, you will pick them up from school and take to after school appointments and help with homework and school projects. This can also be a part time job, if you prefer to only work with the children and not do any household errands/responsibilities. Ideal candidate will have a college degree, have experience in a classroom setting with Autistic students, and be fully vaccinated/boosted. Local San Diego candidates only.
