Native French Speaking Family Assistant needed in San Francisco $175,000 + DOE!
We are looking for a native French speaking Family Assistant to work for a fun, funny and generous SF Family. The kids are in a French immersion school, and need someone who is advanced in French and speaks it fluently. Both parents are busy individuals who need help with their two school age kids. Hours as 12-8p, M-F. From noon until 3:30p, you will do household related tasks including stocking the home with all necessities and supplies, running local errands, working with vendors, and managing the two kids schedules. Once the kids are out of school at 3:30p, you will be responsible for after school carpool, driving to sport practices and game and activities/sports/friends houses as well as helping with their schooling: homework/school projects (all school work is in FRENCH!) This family has a fully staffed home with a full time housekeeper and chef, so you will only be responsible for driving and homework help. We want to find someone who has impeccable manners and can be a mentor to the kids: the parents want you to teach their children how to clean up after themselves, how to make their beds and to keep their playroom and bedrooms clean. Ideal candidate will be flexible to do sleep overs while the parents are traveling for work, 1-3 times per year for up to 4 nights. Education is incredibly important to this family: they would prefer someone who has worked in classrooms. Their dream candidate will be a native French speaker who has 5+ years working as a teacher or tutor and is looking to work for a family long term! Must have valid CA driver's license.
