Part Time Personal Assistant needed in Kentfield
We’re looking for a wonderful part-time Personal Assistant to help support a kind, active couple in their 80s who live in beautiful Kentfield. They’re looking for someone dependable, organized, and upbeat who enjoys helping keep a household running smoothly. In this role, you’ll be the go-to helper for the little things that make a big difference day to day. That might mean running errands, grocery shopping, coordinating with vendors, helping with light bill paying, organizing around the house, and assisting with other simple household tasks that pop up. Think of it as being the calm, capable extra set of hands that keeps life easy and stress-free. Ideal candidate will love to cook simple meals, but this is not a deal breaker if you prefer not to cook. The clients like simple salads, soups, sandwiches for lunches. This is a part-time position totaling about 24 hours per week. The schedule could be either 3 full 8-hour days or 5 half days, depending on what works best for the right person and the family. The ideal candidate lives in the North Bay, has experience working as a Personal Assistant in high-end homes in the Marin area, and enjoys building relationships with the people they support. Bonus points if you’ve worked with more mature clients and understand how to be both respectful and proactive in helping them stay independent and comfortable in their home. You must have your own car and be local to the North Bay. Compensation is DOE, $50–$65/hour gross, with a guaranteed weekly hour minimum (approx 24 depending on your availability.)
