Private Chef needed in NYC! $140-$150,000 DOE!
We are looking for a flexible private chef to work for a wonderful family based in NYC. For the next year or so you will travel with them (only at the US residences, not on the boat/on International trips.) Summers are spent in the Hamptons. A typical day will be approx 8a-9p cooking three meals, breakfast/lunch/dinner as well as snacks for 2-4 adults, 2 kids and a full time staff of 4. Sometimes the children and nannies eat earlier than the adults. We want to find someone who is creative and nutritious, and who has BOTH fine dining experience and who also has worked in private homes. Ideal candidates will understand the dynamics of working in busy households and that an extra guest may be invited to dinner at the last minute. The family eats everything and has no major dietary restrictions - they primarily love Asian cuisine's! We want to find someone who has trained in Korean, Chinese, Thai and Japanese foods! This is a dream job for someone who likes to be creative and make delicious, healthy, flavorful, fresh, farm to table meals! We want someone who can put together menus for approval at least a few days in advance to be approved by the Mrs of the household. We are looking for local NYC chefs only.
