Private Chef needed in NYC (lots of domestic travel) $150,000 DOE!
We are looking for a flexible private chef to work for a wonderful family based in NYC. For the next year you will travel with them (only at the US residences, not on the boat/on International trips.) You should be flexible to travel for up to 4 weeks at a time. Summers are spent in the Hamptons. Schedule is 5 days a week (days may change, but you will always have two consecutive days off), 8a-8p. You will prepare or start with breakfast only for the Mr and Mrs. Lunches and dinners for everyone, it means Mr, Mrs, toddler, nanny, and potentially a Personal Assistant and guests/family. Sometimes the child and nanny eat earlier than the adults. If there is a special event, they will ask you to work on a weekend. We want to find someone who is creative and nutritious, and who has BOTH fine dining experience and who also has worked in private homes. We want to find an experienced private chef who understands the dynamics of working in busy households and that an extra guest may be invited to dinner at the last minute. The family eats everything and has no major dietary restrictions - this is a dream job for someone who likes to be creative and make delicious meals! We want someone who can put together menus for approval at least a few days in advance. We are looking for local NYC chefs only. Must be fully vaccinated and boosted.
