ROTA Full Charge Nanny needed in Hillsborough $40-$45/hr
We are seeking a professional and experienced ROTA Nanny to join a private household in Hillsborough, working for a single parent with two school-aged children. The schedule follows a consistent rotation of five days on, five days off, two days on, two days off. This means you will be expected to work weekends when your scheduled “on” days fall on a weekend. During your “on” shifts, hours are flexible and will vary depending on the family's needs. Some days may require full coverage from 8 am to 8 pm, while others may only involve shorter five-hour shifts. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working an unconventional and ever-changing schedule. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, and educated, with a natural ability to engage school-aged children through thoughtful routines, creative play, and academic support. A college degree is preferred, and a background in child development or education is a plus. You must have a valid California driver’s license and be confident driving children to and from school, activities, and appointments. Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a collaborative mindset are key, as you will be working closely with other household staff to ensure a seamless and supportive environment. Long-term references are required, with at least two to three years of experience in each previous nanny role.
