ROTA Week on Week Off nanny needed in Atherton
A wonderful family in Atherton, CA is seeking an experienced ROTA ("rotational") nanny to work a week-on, week-off schedule. The family has three school age kids. The household is fully staffed and this is a highly collaborative role alongside a long-term nanny who has been with the family for over five years and a 2nd ROTA nanny who will be your teammate. The family also employs a private tutor who works several afternoons per week to help with educational development. Your responsibilities during the scheduled rotation will requires supporting the children’s routines, schedules, and driving them while working seamlessly with other household staff. The ideal candidate is a true team player with a positive, can-do attitude who enjoys running around and being active including playing kickball and swimming after school. Candidates must have a minimum of 2-5 years of recent, full-time experience as nanny or childcare provider. The family values loyalty, so long term references is also very important to this family, this can be long term babysitting references. A bachelor’s degree is required or some college coursework is required, preference with any courses in Education or Child Development. A valid California driver’s license is required, and a nanny car will be provided. The candidate must have a valid U.S. passport and be flexible to travel for up to two weeks at a time during the summer months. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional nanny seeking a long-term position with a respectful, organized family that values teamwork and longevity. Schedule is approx 8a-8p, with flexibility to start later if a parent takes the kids to school, or stay later if they have a date night. You will never work the full 12 hour shift, but we want to find someone who will be available for potential changes during their "on" weeks. Remember, you work every other week, and have a teammate who takes over on your "off" weeks. Salary DOE, $40-$45/hr plus medical benefits and a generous compensation package.
