Service and Events Household Assistant needed in Woodside
An exceptional opportunity is available for a polished and service-oriented professional to join a private household team in Woodside, California, supporting an ultra high net worth principal and their family. This role is focused primarily on high level service and hospitality within a formal residence, requiring an individual with a deep sense of discretion, attention to detail, and a warm yet refined presence. Approximately seventy five percent of this position will involve serving the principals with plated meals, refreshments such as tea or lemon water, and anticipating their needs throughout the day. The successful candidate will also assist in overseeing formal dinners and events at the residence, ensuring seamless execution and a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Additional responsibilities include packing and unpacking for Mr. and Mrs. during travel periods, maintaining household readiness, and supporting the team in keeping operations smooth and efficient. When the family is away, which is often during the summer months, you will be asked to assist with general housekeeping and cleaning tasks alongside the two full time housekeepers already on staff. Flexibility, humility, and a team minded approach are essential. This is a hands on role where no task is too small, and the ability to transition fluidly between front of house service and back of house support is key to success.
