Specialized Nanny needed in Portola Valley for 9 year old ASD child
We are looking for a professional Childcare Provider, this is an AMAZING opportunity for a Special Ed Nanny for a 9 year old ASD boy. We are looking for a childcare provider who has expertise/experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum (specifically non-verbal). The child is an active and energetic son who is 9 years old and loves creative activities, especially art. Both parents are busy professionals and are looking for a partner to help them with their sweet little boy. They want to find someone who can teach and help guide him through developmental stages. The ideal candidate must have a college degree, and ideally experience in a classroom setting with Autistic students. This could be an ideal role for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Special Education teacher who wants to make the transition to working as a full time school aide in a private home for UHNW clients. The home is in Portola Valley, but the family does like to travel during school breaks so you should be flexible to travel for a week at time multiple times a year. The schedule is 9a-6p, with flexibility to work after hours as needed. This client is incredibility generous, salary DOE, $175,000 plus medical benefits and matching 401k.
