Sunday - Wednesday Private Chef needed for family in Hillsborough! $175-$185,000 DOE We are seeking an experienced Private Chef to work for a family of five in Hillsborough from Sunday through Wednesday. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing daily lunches, healthy snacks such as smoothies and fresh cut fruit, and nutritious dinners for the family. Some evenings the children will enjoy the same meal as the parents, while on other nights you will prepare kid-friendly options such as burgers or pizza for the children and elevated dishes such as steak or salmon for the adults. The ideal candidate will plan and prepare well-balanced, flavorful meals using high-quality ingredients, with a strong focus on nutrition and presentation. You should be comfortable creating customized menus that appeal to both adults and children, accommodating preferences while maintaining a high culinary standard. This position is best suited for a chef who thrives in a private household setting, is organized, professional, and discreet, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, personalized dining experiences. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of recent full-time experience working as a private chef, along with long-term references from high-net-worth families. Experience cooking for families with school-age children is required. A background in Michelin-starred restaurants is highly desirable. Applicants must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area or Peninsula. Salary is dependent on experience. Salary DOE, $90,000 - $100,000 plus medical benefits, PTO and matching 401k.
