Teacher Type Educated Nanny needed for UHNW family in Atherton
One of our favorite clients is looking for an educated, energetic teacher type nanny to join their household staff. The family has two kids ages 5 & 11. The household staff includes a main nanny who has been with the family for a decade! We are looking for a nanny to support the mother with the day to day administrative tasks of raising two school age kids. You may be asked to manage the kids school and after school activity calendar, run local errands (like buying gifts for kids Birthday parties or buying sports equipment), signing up for camps and tutoring courses, helping organize the play/homework room, manage any paperwork from school that needs to be signed by the parents, being active and swimming or playing a game of soccer with the kids and acting as a an All Star Childcare team with the current nanny. Ideal candidate will have worked in a classroom setting full time (either paid or as a volunteer) as well as had some sort of full time or part time permanent experience working for a busy family. You should have a passion for Childhood Education, and be incredibly creative and organized. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years recent, full & recent time experience working with school age kids. This is a full time position, M-F approx 9a-6p/40 hours per week. The family does travel frequently, especially during the summer months, and would love someone who can be flexible to travel for up to two weeks at a time. Salary DOE, $45/hr (plus OT when you travel or work weekends!) plus full medical benefits. This is SUCH a nice and generous family. Must be fully vaccinated and local to the Peninsula/Bay Area.
